Actall volunteers with The Gathering Place
On September 24th, 2012 Actall Corporation is shifting focus from our day to day business operations to give back to the community by collectively offering our time, talent and financial support to a local non-profit organization. We have chosen to volunteer our energy supporting The Gathering Place.
The Gathering Place is Denver’s only daytime drop-in center for women and their children experiencing homelessness and poverty. Each month an average of 2,159 different women and 413 different children are served. Their emergency food and supply pantry, known as Betsy’s Cupboard, distributes an average of 392 food bags each month, as well as offering three nutritious meals – breakfast, lunch, and a hearty afternoon snack – every day. Approximately 5,800 meals are served each month.
Today, members of the Actall team will be collecting items for Betsy’s Cupboard at the Whole Foods supermarket located at 11th and Emerson in Denver. We are very excited about assisting this very worthy organization.
We hope you understand and ask for your patience on this day as we give our talent to others in need in the community.
Thank You for supporting Actall and The Gathering Place.
