The Actall PALS (Personal Alarm Locating System) product line is a proven suite of hardware and software designed for staff duress and asset locating.

For facilities with the primary objective of alarm enunciation (rapid routing of a distress signal from a staff member to a control center), PALS utilizes ultrasonic technology for reliability in high-security and clinical settings.

  • Ultrasonic Locating: Ultrasonic technology uses high-frequency sound waves (rather than light or radio waves), to achieve room-level granularity without the interference issues associated with saturated RF environments or the line-of-sight limitations of Infrared (IR) signals.

The dependability of PALS and the specialized hardware, such as water-resistant pendants and the discreet Sentry Pen, address the specific environmental needs of clinical, correctional, and high-security settings.

Utilizes a variety of receivers, including standard (RS-100-L), dual-head (RS-120-L), and quad-head (RS-140-L) configurations, allows engineers to tune the coverage area to the specific dimensions of a space for optimum performance.
