Next-Generation Real-Time Location Solution
ATLAS is an integrated platform that combines hardware, location processing algorithms, and advanced management software to provide high-precision tracking in the most challenging architectural settings.
Using a patented dual-band RF architecture, ATLAS balances the need for sub-room-level precision with the requirement for reliable signal penetration through dense materials.
-
900 MHz Transmission (LoRa): ATLAS leverages long-range (LoRa) radio transmission for communication between tags and gateways. This frequency is highly effective at traveling long distances and passing through thick walls or multi-floor structures without being limited by dense construction materials.
-
2.4 GHz Transmission: ATLAS uses a 2.4 GHz frequency to send very short pings to nearby locators to determine the precise sub-room, room, or zone-based location. Similar to Bluetooth or WiFi, this system ensures high accuracy without requiring expansion of, or conflicting with, a facility’s existing WiFi network, which is often already overloaded with traffic.
By integrating these frequencies, ATLAS achieves reliable accuracy even when the tag is in a pocket, under clothing, or in a "signal-bleeding" environment.
ATLAS also offers an upgrade path for users of PALS9000 to extract even more value and capability from existing systems.
