The Sentry Pen transmitter is a pen-like, ultrasonic device which, when activated, generates a signal that is received by a PALS Sentry receiver.

The P-105 is an entirely mechanical transmitter requiring neither batteries nor electronics. It operates by the release of a spring-loaded hammer that strikes a resonator bar.
